About Us

Who's P?

P is a fun-loving and funky girl who likes the sun, sand and the sea. She loves to eat things that are spicy but will always end up perspiring and crying into the bowl of hot spicy soup. Her favorite cuisines are Japanese, Thai and German. Her favourite foods are Salmon Sashimi, Curry Katsu Don and a huge variety of sushi, Tom Yam soup and Bratwurst und Curry Wurst. Hangouts that you might be able to spot her at are Causeway Point's Sakae Sushi and Wisma Atria's Republic Food Court, NUS' Lerk Thai outlet and this stall in Chinatown run by a rather grumpy and odd Austrian man.. wahahaha... ;)

Who's E?

E also loves fun. As long as its fun. She doesn't like the sun, sometimes likes the sand and sea. She loves to eat spicy things depending on her mood. Will also end up crying and perspiring after the chili has gone in. She has food cravings periodically. No, she's not pregnant. Prefers plain water with everything because all other drinks will make her burping worse. She loves Japanese cuisine and the different kinds food. Actually, she just loves food! All kinds of food as long as they are not expired, don't taste funny and don't make her sick. Beeeef Jeerrrkyyyy!!! Oh and one of her food goals in life is to drink milk fresh from a cow. And she calls milk cow juice. Cheers!

Finally back here blogging after such a longgg time! I've been really busy these days! But never too busy to take a snapshot of the instant foods that are so part of my life these days! Seriously, there are getting more and more interesting instant foods around... no more are they just limited to instant noodles and instant 3 in 1 drinks! There's so much more! Was just telling my bf that I can probably cook a full course meal with all instant foods! It's true!!

Anyway, here's my new discovery of the week! :D

Myojo Instant Duck Porridge!!

Photobucket

Okie.. Firstly, I think I'm a sua-gu (mountain tortise) cos I really didn't know there's such a thing called instant porridge in a cup. I know of the instant porridge that you have to cook over the stove and those are really yummy especially when you are sick and too lazy to cook up something proper to eat.

Anyway, I came across this instant porridge in a cup and was soooo thrilled by it! It's only 160 calories and basically low in fat BUT.. of cos.. high in sodium.. ;P And all you need to do is just add hot water! No need to mix seasoning (which reduces the hassle to find a pair of scissors) and a spoon is provided too!

The porridge really smells like the real deal which is soooo gd! I was soo excited to try it that I forgot to stir it properly and evenly for the first 1 minute! Did I tell you it only takes 1 minute to prepare? Hahaha..

The texture isn't as smooth as the original thing but good enough to satisfy that hunger for something to fill up the tummy. It even has tiny bits of duck meat!! Haha.. And has the fragrance of roasted duck... yum yum..

Well, like I said, it can satisfy hunger and smells and tastes like the real deal!

Give it a try! It's something different as compared to the twiggy yellow noodles in the cup!

Cheers,
P

p.s.: E, you need to start uploading photos for our blog whenever you try something new! Especially like Nissin Chilli Crab?! I've not eaten that before! Nice not?? :P
And i wanna go Dian Xiao Er for the next foodie outing... hee..
